Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2024-06-10T23:36Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2024-06-10T23:36:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Note Keyword:
3P: 3-part structure CME
DFL: Likely deflection of the event within the FOV
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
EUVW: EUV Wave
Morphology Keyword:
F: Flux Rope
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Wide filament eruption seen to the SW in all coronagraphs. Source is a filament eruption from the far-side of the disk, observed best as the filament material itself in SDO AIA 304 launching around 2024-06-10T22:30Z from around S30-S40. The filament material appears to be closer to the limb, but is accompanied by a wider far-sided field line movement in SDO AIA 171/193/211 that appears further around the limb. This is corroborated by the fit in swpc_cat between SOHO and STEREO coronagraphs not working unless longitudes >W130 were used. It appears that two fronts are traveling together from this front--perhaps the filament and field line movements--and are thus measured as one for this analysis.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
